By the end of this series, participants will be able to:
Apply
knowledge of gender identity, expression and diverse identities, to create equitable opportunities for all participants to join in successfully;
the learning tools acquired to create welcoming, diversity-celebrating engagement with your participants/classes;
beyond binary strategies to increase enrolment in their programs and positive engagement throughout the duration of their program.
Demonstrate
thought-leadership principles to guide inclusive communications best practices, bias checks and equitable leadership strategies;
verbal and non-verbal communication methods to elevate your ability to be a leader and navigate challenging conversations;
examples of inclusive language best-practices, with confidence, supporting gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation across diverse backgrounds such as race, ethnicity, ability and more.
Recognize
bias and provide examples of unbiased communication strategies;
language and behaviour that is harmful and discriminatory and use strategies to navigate positively.
